THOMAS WOOD
Born 1951 in Eastern Washington, Thomas began college as a student of Chemistry then studied Fine Art at Western Washington University and Fairhaven College. In 1976 he purchased an etching press and since has been a working artist in Bellingham, Washington. In spring 2000 he was a Visiting Instructor at Il Bisonte School of Graphic Arts in Florence, Italy, where in 2006 he returned to lead a workshop with Northwest printmakers. In the summer of 2009 he installed his mural for The Porch in Boulevard Park, Bellingham. Washington.
